Holy Family English Medium School was born in
the cradle of Holy Family Hospital in 1986 with a motto of
love, Joy and Service. Initially it was started with LKG, UKG,
I & II Classes with 170 pupils. Currently It is a full-fledged
high school with the modern facilities in natural atmosphere
such as pucca class rooms, library, laboratories for
physics, chemistry, biology, sophisticated computer
room and a specious hall. School has been affiliated to
I.C.S.E Council till 1994-2001 with the institutional code
AP-061. Unfortunately in 2001 due to undue pressure and
incessant requests from the parents and well-wishers we
switched over to State Board since their children could
not cope with the demands and the expectations of the
I.C.S.E Council. They had very limited understanding of the
I.C.S.E Syllabus and its exact impact and implications and
definitely lack of awareness of the immense possibilities
that are offered by I.C.S.E. Curriculum to scale heights
in future. As the days passed there was an increasing
demand from the parents to change from I.C.S.E to State
Syllabus. Accordingly the school got the recognition of
the state Board for high school in the year 2002 and for
Elementary 2010.
As the days moved on our area has developed into
a Municipal Town with number of educational institutions,
colleges engineering, medical and Art and Science
and other ITI Colleges. Of late people have realized the
need for quality education. Presently we have very visible
representation from the parents that we reintroduce and
restart once again I.C.S.E .stream with immediate effect.
Our governing body has deliberated upon the request
and has positively decided to explore the possibility of
I.C.S.E once again.
